DESIGNERS FOR DESIGUAL
The Spanish fashion brand Desigual has teamed up with young designers from the world of furniture and interior design. During Salone del Mobile in Milan (Apr. 22-26), the label will showcase a photo exhibit in Bar Basso comprising a series of photos shot by the Italian photographer Stefano Babic. The photographs feature ten young international and Milan-based designers all dressed in Desigual’s F/W 2009-10 collection and accompanied by their designs. The group, which came together especially for Desigual, has been aptly named “Dedé” – Designers for Desigual.

We had a shooting day yesterday with GATE08 members. Gate08 was the Exhibition when we had just before Christmas, we made the quantity limited pieces with Italian artisan for this exhibition. Well, anyway this shooting for the Velvet magazine of Le Rapublica, Italian News paper. It was also collaboration with Desigual, Spanish clothes company, so we are all wearing coloreful Desigual clothes. Those pictures are going to become like wall paper of famous BAR BASSO in Milan during Salone del Mobile 2009! WOW!

Friday afternoon, we had an interview about our thought of furniture design from a Japanese magazine. We had to make some spaces for taking pictures of our furnitures, it was quite hard that move the deskes, or to hide the owful floor tiles and so on and so on… but we really had a good time.

Last evening , we went to Triennale for the opening party of an Exhibition. Some of our designer-friends had the exhibition of flower vase made with marble.

New internship member started to work at our studio from today. His name is Gustavo, from Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. He has just finished his master at Instituto Europeo di Design in Milan.
